Trentonian TV Production Notes: The Interview Sessions Debut with Nick Peruffo

TRENTON -- Nick Peruffo grew up in Maine and recently graduated from Tulane. These days he is a sportswriter with The Trentonian. It'l only a matter of time before he starts reviewing books for the New York Times. I like the kid a lot. He saw a book on my desk called "The New Black Politician: Cory Booker, Newark and Post-Racial America" and asked if he could read it. Yes, Nick, but on the condition you write a review for us. He agreed and turned it around within a week. I knew we had a winner.

As it turns out, the PR folks for the book's author wondered if The Trentonian wanted to interview Dr. Andra Gillespie. We asked the PR folks if they could set up a live interview on Trentonian TV. One thing leads to another, and today Dr. Gillespie was inside the Trentonian TV studios -- after a long drive from Virginia -- to be the first guest on Trentonian TV's newest program "The Trentonian TV Interview Sessions with Nick Peruffo". Trentonian TV host Darren Freedom Green took the book after Peruffo finished and began to read it. So I asked him to be a part of the interview with Dr. Gillespie.
