TRENTON -- There's a song by the '80s band The Fixx called "One Thing Leads to Another," and that's what happened today after one of L.A. Parker's guests decided to stick around the Trentonian TV studios to talk to me. One thing led to another, and Writerz Bloq TV and Trentonian TV have agreed to collaborate.
Yolanda describes herself as "a hometown girl who likes to do local stuff with hometown people." She grew up in Trenton then moved to Hamilton and went to Nottingham for a bit before moving across the pond and graduating from Pennsbury High. She is one of the movers and shakers of the Trenton African-American Pride Festival, and she works in radio and TV. She showed me a trailer for a new Writerz Bloq TV show. It took 5 seconds for me to love the gritty yet high quality production that has a New York City vibe yet is straight outta Trenton. The show will debut at 8 o'clock Friday night on Trentonian TV. Here is the trailer:

Two episodes are in the can, ready to run on Trentonian TV. Spread the word.
That said, I loved Yolanda's energy and passion to get things done in the same warp speed that I like to get things done. So I told her to call Rommell to get him down to Trentonian TV. One thing led to another, and here is their 20-minute interview with no prep time. You'll forgive Rommell for sounding somewhat groggy. He was up all night at the Trenton Atelier getting ready for this weekend's 24 Hours of Atelethon, which will be broadcast live on Trentonian TV. Rommell is going to perform live. Yolanda will be there, too.
