Trentonian TV Production Notes: Live with L.A. Episode 8

TRENTON -- Those are photos from today's "Live with L.A."

The first photo shows L.A. holding up one of the 20 submissions to the Trenton Library logo contest. Trenton Library Director Kim Matthews is in the photo, too.

Below that is Becky Vasquez of Womanspace as she talked about the horrors of human trafficking, which is today's slavery.

Judy Shouse Levy of Meals on Wheels and Jim Carrigan, speaking about Friday's dedication to Trenton basketball great Tal Brody, were the other guests. But you won't see Levy, Carrigan, Vasquez or Matthews because the broadcast did not record.

During the live broadcast, Procaster said streaming was at 100%. But when I looked in Trentonian TV's Livestream library, this is what I saw, to my horror:

The broadcast came over as 8 recorded pieces. Normally I wouldn't have a problem with this unfortunate technicality. It has happened before, but when that happens I just group all of the pieces into one storyboard and plug that storyboard into the replay loop.

But here's what caused my mind to explode a thousand times: Click on the photo. See those little boxes to the right of "Live Show [procaster]? They're empty, meaning no recordings. Last time this happened I waited 5 or 10 minutes, and the recorded pieces showed up. Today they didn't. It is infuriating.
