Vignettes from Vermont: Like A Weirgen

BENNINGTON -- You are a weirgen, yes?

Anyway, Art Gallery Dude took wet rags to the walls of the Graffiti Vault today, and they're almost like new again, kind of like a virgin again, but not really. You have to wipe the walls down every few weeks because the layers of chalk start to become too thick to erase -- it becomes all smudgy and shit.

So then, AGD has begun compiling photos for "Chalk It Up!" volume 2 although sales for "Chalk It Up!" volume 1 (HERE) have yet to reach triple figures, or even half of triple figures. What's sad is that CIU! is available for iPads but no one is buying that version, either.

Such is life. Vhut is vhut. And so it goes. Whatevs.

Four Australians galoshed about the gallery yesterday and bought a few cool pieces of pottery that reminded them of home down under, but they didn't buy the platter and bowl till after they went nuts in the Graffiti Vault ...

Ben and Sarah Chesters

Nick and Antonia Rumball (and baby makes 3)

G'day!

... and they were happy-cheery Aussies yucking it up in Vermont for the first time.

They said they definitely would buy Chalk It Up! volume 2 but AGD is setting the odds of that happening at 35 to 1.

Here's what the walls looked like today before the Big Weirgen Wipe.

... that last one is pretty cool because of the sunbeams.

So then, bubba, the walls are like weirgen again. Here's the other big wall ...

... so come Chalk It Up! at Fiddlehead at Four Corners.

Seriously, it will change your world outlook, not to mention, it keeps your kids busy while you shop for really fun, funky and functional art.

By the way, if you want to know the "weirgen" reference ...
